At Neurodiversity Counseling and Family Support Center, we are dedicated to creating a supportive, safe and inclusive space for all individuals and families. Our individual counseling services are designed to empower and improve emotional well-being and quality of life.
​
We specialize in providing support for adults who identify as: autistic, neurodivergent, quirky, nerdy, highly-sensitive, or with ADHD, along with supporting their loved ones.
Our passion also extends to working with people of color, individuals with multiple minority identities, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Meet Michelle

Michelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado, Florida, Missouri and Texas. She also provides Clinical Supervision in Colorado, Texas and soon in Florida. She provides HIPAA compliant telehealth services in the aforementioned states. Michelle obtained a Masters in Art Therapy Counseling degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
Michelle has 12 years of clinical experience and blends neurodiversity-affirming and person-centered practices with creative approaches to guide clients toward emotional well-being.

Michelle is a neurodivergent individual, and the parent of an adult son who is also neurodivergent. As such, she has an understanding and experience navigating the social world through an atypical lens. Michelle also has extensive knowledge of navigating services related to autism and ADHD at the local, state and federal level.
​
Addressing challenges such as relationship issues, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and more, Michelle’s affirming-care ensures clients feel truly seen and supported.
Michelle seeks to validate and normalize client’s experiences while collaborating with them to navigate the social world and maximize their self-worth, independence and quality of life.

She employs components of the aforementioned treatment models as appropriate in treatment. Michelle also enjoys utilizing art and play therapy techniques and just as importantly, humor in treatment.

Clinical Supervision for LPC Licensure
Michelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in Colorado, Texas, and coming soon in Florida. As such, she provides clinical supervision to provisionally licensed therapist in persuit of clinical licensure.
